Korea Wellness Retreat with Lina
Join me for a 7-day wellness retreat through Seoul and Jeju Island, created around meaningful connection, shared experiences, and slowing down together. Through mindful workshops, cultural moments, nature, and time to simply be present, we’ll create space to connect with ourselves, with Korea, and with the people around us. More than just a trip, it’s a chance to build genuine friendships, recharge, and share an unforgettable week together.
OVERVIEWDiscover the heart of Korea!
An Authentic Itinerary
APR 4 - 10, 2027Designed by Goodmate Travel and Lina (@bylinaju), this 7-day retreat is about experiencing Korea in a way that feels both exciting and grounding. We’ll explore the culture, food, traditions, neighborhoods, and natural beauty of Seoul and Jeju, while also weaving in moments to slow down through yoga, meditation, breathwork, journaling, and reflection. It’s not a week of nonstop wellness sessions—it’s a thoughtful balance of adventure, connection, and rest, with space to enjoy Korea, connect with the group, and come home feeling refreshed.
Itinerary
-
Arrive in Seoul and settle into the start of our week together. In the evening, we’ll gather for a welcome dinner and opening circle—a relaxed chance to meet the group, share intentions for the retreat, and begin building the connections that will shape the days ahead.
Meals included: Dinner
-
Spend the day experiencing the beauty and energy of Seoul, from its royal history to its lively local neighborhoods. Dress in hanbok, explore Gyeongbokgung Palace, wander through Insadong, and end the evening sharing food and stories at Gwangjang Market. It’s a day designed to experience Korea together while naturally getting to know one another.
Meals Included: Lunch, Dinner
-
After our first morning workshop, we’ll leave the pace of the city behind and spend the night at a Temple. Surrounded by nature, we’ll experience temple life through meditation, quiet reflection, shared meals, and an evening creating space to slow down and reconnect with ourselves.
Meals Included: Dinner
-
Begin the morning in the peaceful surroundings of the temple before leaving Seoul behind and traveling south to Jeju Island. Known for its dramatic volcanic landscapes, coastline, and slower rhythm of life, Jeju offers the perfect setting for the next chapter of our retreat.
After settling into our stay near Seongsan, we’ll ease into island life with a yoga session and workshop designed to help us ground ourselves after the journey. With the ocean nearby and a new landscape around us, the afternoon is about slowing the pace, moving intentionally, and creating space to simply be present. We’ll end the day over dinner together as we settle into Jeju’s relaxed island rhythm.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
-
Wake up to the natural beauty of eastern Jeju and begin the day with a hike up Seongsan Ilchulbong, one of the island’s most iconic volcanic landscapes. The morning gives us a chance to move our bodies, breathe in the sea air, and take in sweeping views over the coastline before returning to a slower pace.
Later, we’ll spend time learning about Jeju’s Haenyeo community—the island’s legendary women divers whose traditions have been passed down through generations. Their stories of resilience, community, and connection to the sea offer a meaningful glimpse into a side of Jeju that goes far beyond its scenery.
The afternoon continues with time by the beach before returning to the hotel to unwind. As the sun begins to set, we’ll gather for meditation and our next workshop, reflecting on the day and making space for deeper conversations. We’ll finish with a relaxed group dinner, sharing stories and enjoying another evening together on the island.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
-
Our final full day in Jeju is dedicated to slowing down even further and taking time to reflect on the week we’ve shared. We’ll begin with a morning yoga session, allowing the body and mind to gently wake up before heading into Jeju’s peaceful green tea fields.
Surrounded by rolling rows of tea plants and open landscapes, we’ll enjoy a tea tasting experience and learn more about Korea’s tea culture while taking a quiet moment to appreciate the surroundings. Afterward, there will be time to explore Seogwipo Market at your own pace and choose your own lunch from the many local specialties.
In the afternoon, we’ll come together for a deeper wellness session incorporating breathwork, journaling, and mindfulness. This is a chance to pause, reflect on what the retreat has brought up for us, and think about what we want to carry forward once we return home.
We’ll then travel to Jeju City for our final evening together. Over a farewell Korean BBQ dinner, we’ll celebrate the experiences, conversations, and friendships we’ve built throughout the week—before ending the night on a high with a fun karaoke celebration.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Dinner
-
Spend one final morning enjoying Jeju before we make our way back to Seoul. We’ll follow the coastline for a colorful stop along Rainbow Coastal Road, then take an easy walk up Dodubong Hill for one last view of the island and the sea.
After sharing lunch together near Jeju Airport, we’ll board our flight back to Seoul. As the retreat comes to an end, we’ll leave with more than just memories of the places we visited—with new friendships, meaningful conversations, and hopefully a renewed sense of connection to ourselves and the people around us.
