OVERVIEWA Little Island, A Lot of Heart
A Unique Itinerary
OCT 29 Thu, 2026Forget the usual sightseeing checklist. This day is about the people who make a place special.
We'll leave Seoul behind and head to Wonsando, a small island on Korea's west coast. Together, we'll dig for clams, make noodles from scratch, and share a homemade meal around the same table.
There's no need to rush. Just good food, warm company, fresh sea air, and a chance to slow down and enjoy the simple things. Come as strangers, leave as Goodmates.
Itinerary
-
Our day begins at 8:30 AM, when we meet at Sadang Station (Exit 1) in Seoul and hop on our private bus together. On the way to the coast, we'll stop by a local dairy farm for fresh yogurt and bread, with a chance to watch the cows grazing in the open fields.
Then it's off to Wonsando, where our favorite local grandmas are waiting for us! We'll pull on our boots and head out to the tidal flats to dig for clams, just as the locals have done for generations. With our fresh catch in hand, we'll make our way to the village hall, where the grandmas will show us how to make noddle from scratch. We'll knead, roll, and cut the dough together before sitting down to enjoy the noodles we made, all around one big table.
After lunch, there's time to slow down at a local island café, enjoy the coastal atmosphere, and get to know our new friends a little better. We'll say goodbye to the island around 5:00 PM and make our way back to Seoul, arriving at Sadang Station at approximately 7:00 PM.
One day, plenty of good food, and hopefully a few new friendships to take home.
